The Economics department aims to equip its students with the skills required to succeed in today’s challenging environment. Our graduates will be able to work in the private sector, public sector and non-governmental organizations. The strength of our department lies in our academic staff. In addition, thanks to links that are formed with educational institutions abroad, students will also have the opportunity to spend part of their studies in different foreign universities as well as having the chance to meet faculty members from both Turkish universities and universities abroad in the seminars, workshops and conferences organized by the department. Our department targets to be among the world's most popular schools that are engaged in research and education in the field of economics.
